Many patients have started to ask my surgeons if I have a website where they might find some information about me and about their anaesthetic. Some have even told me that they Googled me and were surprised to find that I didn’t have a website.

As a medical specialist with a busy anaesthetic practice I am, of course, time poor. I was so worried about how time consuming it would be to find someone to do a website, to provide all the information they needed, maybe even write it myself, and do whatever else I had to do.

I should have put less time into worrying because you guys made it so easy. We had a meeting and I just made a list of headings of things I thought people would want to know then Kyla put a lot of time into researching and then drafting all of the information under those headings. I have to say I was pretty impressed with the accuracy of what she wrote. All I had to do then was spend a couple of hours reading it all and changing a few things to suit myself and presto, all done. If I thought of anything else I just made a phone call or sent an email. It was all very efficient from their end, and they were very patient with waiting for me to get back to them.

Patients can now find out a bit about me, some important information and can contact me if they need to ask questions or get a quote, all online. I think it will cut down how much time my secretary spends on the ‘phone, and we are even considering an online payment option.
